Texas High School Coaches Association Partners with Victory+ for Live Streaming of State Events |
New collaboration brings free, statewide access to high school sports championships and educational clinics |
The Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) has announced a groundbreaking partnership with Victory+, a free streaming service, to broadcast state championship games and educational clinics live across Texas.
Starting this fall, fans can watch football, basketball, volleyball, and track finals live on Victory+, with on-demand replays available.
Additionally, the THSCA's annual coaching symposium will be accessible online, featuring keynote sessions and workshops for registered attendees.
Under this agreement, Victory+ will manage production and technical aspects, including mobile broadcast crews and multi-camera setups, while the THSCA maintains editorial control over graphics, halftime shows, and coach interviews.
THSCA Executive Director Joe Martin emphasized that this partnership aims to connect rural and urban schools, ensuring all programs can showcase their athletes and coaching strategies to a statewide audience.
Victory+ CEO Mark Reyes highlighted that the platform's customizable pay-per-view options and ad-supported free streams will create new revenue streams for participating schools and support future association initiatives.
With the season approaching, THSCA members will receive special streaming codes, and a public preview of regional semifinal games is scheduled for late August.
This collaboration marks a significant step toward modernizing high school sports coverage in Texas, bringing live action and professional broadcast quality into the homes of thousands of students and supporters. |
